The park of the administrative district of Arabkir also known as Molokans’ park with a total area of 3 hectares has been returned to the community. The park was given for rent for 50 years.

“During the last 30 years the park was neglected, and the system of irrigation didn’t work. After my taking the office of the head of the administrative district the issue is at the focus of our attention. We have tried to understand the problem and found an appropriate solution”, noted th head of Arabkir districts Aram Danielyan.
After negotiating with the leaseholder the park which has been leased since 2009, has been returned to the community. Currently one of the priority problems is the restoration of the green zone and construction of the system of irrigation. The activities have already been started.
The system of external lighting of the zone will be modernized, new benches and dustbins will be installed, the alleys will be well-arranged.
In 2018 a zipline was constructed in the park. Currently, new projects are being discussed with its owners.
In 2020 Arabkir district is going to mark its 95th anniversary. According to the head of the district, the well-arranged park will become the best present for the residents of Arabkir.
