During the first meeting of the 3rd session of Yerevan Council of Elders convened on February 13 and chaired by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the Council was submitted the draft decision on installation of the monument to the distinguished Armenian statesman,political and military figure Aram Manukyan in Yerevan.

Presenting the draft decision Yerevan Deputy Mayor Gagik Baghdasaryan noted that the monument will be installed within the frames of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of declaration of the First Republic of Armenia. The author of the monument is the RA Distinguished Artist, sculptor David Minasyan.
The Council of Elder discussed and approved of the draft decision on installation of the monument in the junction of Arami and Nalbandyan streets.
