During the regular working meeting in the City Hall, regarding the activities implemented within the frames of international credit programs, particularly the construction of the road segment Davtashen-Ashtarak, it was reported that they are going on as scheduled. it was instructed to carry on the control over the quality and terms of work. Concerning the inventory of the advertising boards and external advertising regulation in the area of the capital the head of the Department of External Design and Advertising of Yerevan Municipality reported that the activities for making up the advertising passports had been initiated and included in the five-year program of development. The advertising passport implies preliminary determination of the sites for ads on buildings, the size and type of ads.

Soon there will be ready advertising passports for 60 buildings of cultural and historical interest. It was also reported that to implement Mayor’s instruction the advertisement boards hindering visually the memorial boards installed on buildings had been inventoried and dismantled the previous week. It was instructed to keep the process under permanent supervision.

It was reported that with the participation of private entrepreneurs, in the parks and public areas of the capital sanitary cleaning, mowing of lawns and planting of flowers are going on. Besides, tight supervision is set in the areas where there is risk of fires and organization of fireworks in such areas is limited.
To exclude cases of swimming in artificial water basins in administrative districts special boards forbidding swimming have been installed and explanation activities are being carried out among the residents.
Taking into account the alarm calls received from the dwellers it was instructed to set boards forbidding swimming and walking of pets in green public areas and nearby artificial basins, as well as in teamwork with Yerevan Police Department to set strict control over meeting the mentioned requirements otherwise the violators will be disciplined.
Regarding the current activities it was reported that everyday control is going on over illegal construction and land occupation, over illegal street trading, over wastes dumping in inappropriate areas. The persons in charge and heads of administrative districts were instructed to carry on strengthened control.
