In accordance with the tradition, the first form pupils of the schools of Kentron district of Yerevan, spent the evening of the Day of the Knowledge at Children's park. The festive event called "The first lesson" organized by the administration of Kentron district was aimed at making the first day of the school year for the first-year pupils unforgettable.

The children toured about the capital on "Yerevan City Tour" buses, then, by the same buses they arrived at the park. On the spot they were greeted by fairytale and cartoon heroes, and then children's ensembles greeted them with their performance. To make the festive day full of joy the organizers made all the attractions of the park free for children, besides the children were treated to ice-cream and juice.
Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan who was also present at the event, walked about the area of the park accompanied by the head of Kentron district Ara Sadoyan and watched the creative works by children, talked to them and once again congratulated them on the new school year.
On the occasion of the Day of the Knowledge the children were presented books by the head of Kentron district.
