On the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the everyday control is set over elimination and prevention of the cases of waste removal to undetermined places and disciplining the violators. During the regular working conference the head of the Legal Department of the Municipality reported that 39 records had been drawn up the previous week regarding administrative violations. The work was assessed as unsatisfactory therefore it was instructed to strengthen the control and to take corresponding measures to eliminate the phenomena. As a result of the observations carried out the previous week 5 cases of illegal construction had been revealed and corresponding administrative records had been drawn up. The head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control reported that at three addresses the illegal constructions had already been dismantled. Referring to illegal street trade prevention it was reported that 8 records had been drawn up the previous week. It was instructed to strengthen the control especially at weekends.
It was also instructed to pay special attention to meeting the requirements of obligatory improvement of surrounding public areas. Regarding the phone calls received by the "hot lines" functioning in the subdivisions of the Municipality and in the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts it was reported that 251 and 73 calls were received correspondingly. On the whole 230 issues were solved the rest ones are being processed. During the conference it was also reported that on the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan carried out the second year running, 950 parents of fixed-period servicemen living in Yerevan visited their sons serving in the frontier military units of Tavush, Syunik and other units of the Army of Defence of the NKR.
