In cooperation with Yerevan Municipality the RA Ministry of Diaspora carries out “Ari tun” program within the frames of which Armenian children visited the capital are hosted in Yerevan families.
During the period from the 1st stage of the program (started on June 13) till the end of the 8th stage (August 27), 128 families residing in the administrative districts of the capital will have hosted 162 children. The preliminary applications involved a greater number of families which expressed willingness to host Armenian children from Diaspora. By the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the persons in charge regularly visited the families, familiarized themselves with the routine of the guests.
The Armenian children who arrived from various countries noted that due to warm welcome they feel quite at home in Yerevan. Cognitive excursions to the RA provinces and about Yerevan were organized for the children.
Traditionally, at the end of “Ari tun” program the winners in “Best administrative district” and “Best family” nominations will be determined.
