Armen Khandikyan, Barsegh Tumanyan, Levon Tokmajyan and Henrik Edoyan - Honorary Citizens of Yerevan: Regular meeting of the Council of Elders took place
By the decision of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, stage director, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Armen Khandikyan, opera singer, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Barsegh Tumanyan, sculptor, academician, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Levon Tokmajyan and poet, literary critic, Doctor of Philology, professor, Distinguished Cultural Figure of the Republic of Armenia Henrik Edoyan were awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Yerevan".

As part of another issue on the agenda, the Council of Elders established privileges in terms of property tax on residential buildings and vehicles in the city of Yerevan. The group includes 87 citizens, 52 of whom are veterans of the wars of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, who have received 1st and 2nd degree of disability, and 35 are family members of prisoners of war, missing persons or declared dead.

The next meeting of the Yerevan Council of Elders is scheduled for November 19.
