Any design deviations are to be excluded in high-risk urban development facilities. During the regular working meeting Mayor Hayk Marutyan instructed the persons in charge of the supervising structures and the heads of administrative districts to consistent in this regard and to set control in all facilities.

The structures engaged in population’s livelihood support were instructed to install special warning signs during restoration activities and to keep relevant cleanness. Taking into account some misperformance in these activities the Mayor instructed to strengthen some requirements in technical characteristics.

It was instructed to enhance the supervision carried out in teamwork with the RA Road Police over the trucks replacing building materials with uncovered bodyworks. Norms of cleanness and safety are often violated by some building companies.

Due to the financial means saved by renewable fund created within the frames of the “Green urban lighting” program implemented by Yerevan Municipality and the UNDP Armenian Office, modernization of external lighting systems started in Ajapnyak district. Sodium vapor lamps are replaced with energy saving LED lamps.

The process of welding garbage chutes in blocks of flats is going on within the frames of cooperation between community authorities, condominiums and residents. It was reported that of 3691 garbage chutes 2464 had already been welded. It was also marked that illegalities started occurring around those chutes. The local authorities were instructed to exclude such cases.

It was also instructed to keep under close control bus stops as some cases of vandalism were fixed. Those who damage community property must be punished.
