Within the framework of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2798” events Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan welcomed the members of the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, of “Ambulance” CJSC and the members of Voluntary Union “Yerkrapah”.

Greeting those present Yerevan Mayor thanked them for devoted work.
“Traditionally, during “Erebuni-Yerevan” events we pay tribute to those who fulfil an important mission in various spheres. We are grateful to you for your devoted activity aimed at ensuring the security of our residents in emergency situations, at rapid response to their calls as well as at the guarantee of inviolability of our borders. Be sure that your professional activity is appreciated by the residents and by Yerevan Municipality staff”, said the Mayor of Yerevan.
On the event of 2798th anniversary of Yerevan, for conscientious work in the sphere of medical service the doctor of the central sub-station of the straight medical unit of “Ambulance” CJSC Salvador Khechumyan and the doctor of the 4th substation Norayr Tevanyan are awarded with Yerevan mayor's medal.
For the services in the defense of the borders of our homeland Yerevan Mayor's Gold medal was awarded to the chairman of the territorial subdivision of the Voluntary union “Yerkrapah” of Davtashen administrative district, the deputy chairman of the city council of VU “Yerkrapah” Sargis Grigoryan, the chairman of the territorial subdivision of the Voluntary Union “Yerkrapah” of Malatia Sebastia district Varazdat Zatikyan, the deputy chairman of the territorial subdivision of VU “Yerkrapah” of Erebuni district Hovhannes Martirosyan and the chairman of the territorial subdivision of Jrvezh Hrachya Mihranyan.
For the activity aimed at the security of the residents of Yerevan and for proper organization of civil defense activities Yerevan Mayor's Gold medal was awarded to deputy head of Yerevan Rescue Deartment of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations Rescue Service, the Colonel of Rescue Service Armen Badalyan.
