The process of cleaning of drainage systems is going on in the capital. During the regular working meeting Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan suggested that “Veolia Jur” company provide the Municipality with the information about the locations of drainage systems. The heads of administrative were instructed to fix the problems during inspections so that no floods appear during rainfalls.

Summarizing the results of the inspections Yerevan Mayor expressed his discontent with the process of well-arrangement and assigned to exclude the implementation of incomplete projects and ensure that complex approach will be applied in improvement programs.

The system installed in the call centre of the “Emergency” service has made its work more effective. Daily, 20-30 phone calls received via 1-03 call centres got the possibility of feedback.

Tree branches hindering the visibility of road signs are trimmed and the information on the problematic locations are given to “Landscaping and Environment Protection” NCO.

Yerevan Municipality in teamwork with the police carries on inspections towards banning illegal open-air trade. It was reported that 36 reports were made regarding administrative violations. 112 administrative cases are being proceedings.

Yerevan Municipality carries on the process of notification of economy entities regarding improvement of adjacent public areas. The Mayor instructed to keep the process under permanent control. 70% of 14167 entities have already been notified.
