18 pupils of the senior class of the elementary school Saint Mesrop in the city of Alforville in the Paris region visited the City Hall of Yerevan, then walked about the Yerevan History Museum, listened to the historical review about the foundation of Yerevan, its past and present days.
In this bilingual Armenian educational center all the 200 pupils have compulsory studies of French and Armenian. “It has already become a tradition to come to Armenia as a pilgrimage when the pupils are at their final year. There are many pupils, especially from mixed families, whose main language is not Armenian so they study the language of their Homeland in this center. The pupils of our center visit Armenia with great pleasure and today they have come to the City Hall and to the Yerevan History Museum full of enthusiasm”, said the director of Saint Mesrop educational center of Alforville Sirarpi Kosoyan.
As a memory about the visit to the City Hall of Yerevan and to the Yerevan History Museum the pupils of the center were presented books with illustrations of the sights of the capital on behalf of the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan.
