During the regular weekly working conference Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan summarized the results of his instructions performance related to the programs of support for the families of the servicemen fallen, wounded and got disabled.

The Mayor informed the participants of the meeting taking into account the results of studying of the primary needs of those families by corresponding departments of the Municipality.
«Targeted approach in accordance with which I have made my decision is very important in this issue. Therefore, every family of the fallen servicemen will get a financial aid of AMD 1.5 million. The disabled servicemen residing in Yerevan will get AMD 1 million, and the families of the wounded servicemen-AMD 500 thousand. I am sure that you will agree that this is the least we have to do for our soldiers and their families», said Taron Margaryan.
The Mayor also referred to the instruction concerning the possibility of re-consideration of the financial means provided by the budget of 2016 for holding cultural events.
«As a result of reconsideration of the financial means provided by the budget for holding cultural events we decided to reduce the financial means provided for «Erebuni-Yerevan» celebration due to which we can show the financial aid to the families. The data for the families of the servicemen which rent flats and need housing are being summarized. Within a few days the final list will be made up and we will pr4epare corresponding draft decisions of the Council of Elders which, I am sure, we will confirm at the regular meeting of the Council and this way will provide the families with flats», stressed Taron Margaryan.
The Deputy Mayor Vahe Nikoyan reported that the previous week Yerevan Municipality and administrative districts had transferred AMD 20 million to the special bank account opened by the NKR government.
The head of the Department of General Education reported that the list of the schools where the fallen at the front line soldiers, living in Yerevan studied were being prepared. After making up the final list special memorial corners will be created in these schools.
Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to organize the work so that the memorial corners will be ready by September 1.
