During the regular working conference Mayor Taron Margayan before turning to the issues of the agenda thanked all the structures of the staff for proper organization and holding of the citywide clean-up of April 12.
The Mayor also thanked all the employees of the state and private organization which had taken active part in the activities. Within the frames of the conference the head of the Department of Nature Protection reported that within the scope of the landscaping programs of 2014 the process if installation of new irrigation networks had already started. Sanitary tree pruning is going on in the administrative districts. The Mayor instructed to go on tree planting activities in the capital till May1.

Taron Margaryan instructed to present the list of the streets where overhauling is needed to the companies “Yerevan Jur”, “Yerevan gas” and “Electricity Network of Armenia” before starting the realization of asphalting program
Referring to landscaping of the areas adjacent to the new motorway Isakov-Leningradyan, Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to involve all landscaping companies in the process and to finish in accordance with the schedule.
With the aim of providing sanitary conditions in the area adjacent to the former market N 2, the Mayor instructed the persons in charge to take all necessary measures together with the State Service of Food Safety of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RA and the sanitary and epidemiology service of the RA Ministry of Health Care. It was reported that the process of construction of new chess schools in the administrative districts of Arabkir, Erebuni, Kentron, Malatia Sebastia and Nor Nork is going on. All draft estimates are already ready. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to arrange the activities so that they will be finished by September 1 and the children will be able to attend these schools.

At the end of the conference the reports on the work carried out by some structural subdivisions in the first quarter of 2014 were presented. The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan David Ohanyan in particular presented the report on the activities carried out by the departments of health care, trade and services, external design and advertisement, as well as by the CJSC “Technology Management center of Yerevan” and the division for the organization of the issues of conscription.
Then the Chief Architect of Yerevan Tigran Barseghyan presented the reports on the work done in the sphere of urban development. The heads of the legal department, urban development and land control department and real estate management department also presented reports on the activities carried out in the first quarter of the current year.
All the presented reports were taken into consideration.
