“Yerevan 2800”: jazz mood in the capital
Festive mood in Yerevan also reigned in Cascade Complex which is one of most visited and recognizable areas of the capital. Jazz stage was traditionally here. Popular jazzmen Levon Malhasyan, Vahagn Hayrapetyan, the Public Radio Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Yervand Yerznkyan and the State Jazz-Band of Armenia lead by Armen Hyusnunts congratulated Yerevan with their performances.
Special guest Arto Tunjboyajyan filled the evening with the sounds and rhythms of “avant-guarde folk”.
Congratulating the birthday of the capital the participants of the jazz event noted that they felt a particle of the great historical event and enjoyed the day.
