During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan was reported that all necessary measures had been taken to organize the visit of the parents of the fixed-period servicemen from Yerevan serving in the frontier military units on October 22. This time about 1250 parents are going to visit their sons.

“Within the frames of this program carried out jointly with the RA Ministry of Defense we give the parents of fixed-period servicemen from Yerevan the opportunity to visit their sons serving in the frontier military units and to familiarize themselves with the conditions in which their sons are serving in the army. It's another important step to strengthen the ties between army and society”, said Taron Margaryan. It was also reported that this time as usual the parents will be provided with comfortable buses which will be escorted by the road police cars, and doctors will be on buses too.
