Yerevan team is recognized “Best sport family 2017”
The RA President Serzh Sargsyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and other officials were watching the final stage of “Best sport family 2017” competition for the RA President Cup at the stadium of Tsaghkadzor main Olympic sport complex. The competition has been held for the 14th time.
“Best sport family 2017” competition was held in three stages. 4 age groups competed in 6 kinds of sports. 1516 families o4 4548 people from Artsakh, Yerevan and ten marzes of Armenia took part in the first stage. 144 families passed to the final stage. This year 23 families with disabled members from the marzes f Armenia, from Yerevan and Artsakh also took part in the finale.
The President of the Republic congratulated the winners, handed them the certificates, money prizes and memorable prizes, as well as Cups to Yerevan, Artskh and Armenian marzes delegations. All the children from 144 families passed to the final and the 23 families with disabled members got incentive presents.
Serzh Sargsyan greeted all the participants and winners of the contest, wished them lots of success.
In general account the families from Yerevan won and were awarded with the RA President’s Cup which was handed to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan by President Serzh Sargsyan.
Congratulating the participants of Yerevan delegation on the victory Mayor Taron Margaryan once again stressed that Yerevan Municipality will always support the residents of Yerevan who are fond of sport and will do everything possible to stress the importance of physical education, to popularize sport contributing to healthy lifestyle.
