Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan visited the State of Qatar as a member of the delegation headed by the RA Prime Minister. During the official meeting, in the presence of the prime ministers of Armenia and Qatar, the agreement on becoming sister cities was signed between the municipalities of Yerevan and Doha. The document was signed by Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan and the Minister of Municipality of Qatar Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz bin Turki Al Subaie.
Afterwards Yerevan Mayor had a meeting with Qatar Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz bin Turki Al Subaie during which they discussed the issues related to further cooperation.
