“Yerevan Aims to Become a Leading Center of Sports Life” – Tigran Avinyan
In recent years, the Yerevan Municipality has prioritized the promotion of various types of sports, contributing to the development of sports in the community and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. This year alone, the city hosted 11 major international tournaments in cooperation with sports federations, five of which were included in the official competition calendars of international federations.
Mayor Tigran Avinyan awarded Yerevan’s top athletes and coaches, as well as individuals who have devoted many years to sports and continue to bring honor to the city and the country.
“Yerevan aims to establish itself as a leading center of sports life through the continuous development of sports infrastructure and the active promotion of sports at the community level,” emphasized the mayor.
