During the special meeting called on October 11,on the event of the 2799th anniversary of Yerevan, for significant contribution to cinema art development, many-year devoted work the Council of Elders of Yerevan confirmed the suggestion of Yerevan Mayor to award the title “Honorary citizen of Yerevan” to the film director, RA People’s Artist Artavazd Peleshyan.

By another decision of the Council of Elders, on the event of 2799th anniversary of Yerevan foundation, for significant contribution to the sphere of Armenian television, for many-year work and fruitful activity the title “Honorary citizen of Yerevan” was awarded to the Arm SSR People’s Artist Nara Shlepchyn.
On the event of the 2799th anniversary of Yerevan foundation, for significant contribution to Armenian literature, for many-year fruitful activity the Council of Elders of Yerevan confirmed the draft decision on awarding the title “Honorary citizen of Yerevan” to the writer, public figure Razmik Davoyan.
By another decision of the Council, for significant contribution to economics development and effective activity in Yerevan, on the event of the 2799th anniversary of Yerevan the title “Honorary citizen of Yerevan” was awarded to the Manager General of”VivaCell-MTS” company Ralf Yirikyan.
