Grigor Lusavorich street is renamed into Saint Grigor Lusavorich street
During the regular meeting of the Council of Elders of Yerevan ,held on May 22, the Council approved of the draft decision on renaming Grigor Lusavorich street into Saint Grigor Lusavorich (St Gregory the Illuminator).
With another decision the Council approved of the draft decisions on installation of the memorial boards commemorating the physicist, Professor Petros Bezirganyan and Academician Levon Piruzyan..
The members of the Council also approved of the draft decision on allotting a land plot with the right for free use for 10 years to “Hay Mayrer” NGO (“Armenian Mothers”). The organization helps 270 children with cerebral palsy.
Touching upon the draft decision on property allotting for free use, Mayor Hayk Marutyan noted that Yerevan Municipality keeps the mentioned above areas under tight control.
The next meeting of the Council of Elders of Yerevan will be called on June 26.
