Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan met with the member of the Municipal Council of Beirut Aram Mailyan who arrived in Yerevan to take part in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2800” celebration. Greeting the guest, the Mayor thanked him for accepting the invitation and participation in the vents dedicated to Yerevan Day. Hayk Marutyan particularly stressed the importance of friendly and partners relations between Yerevan and Beirut and highly appreciated the personal contribution of the Armenian politician and public figure in this regard. Referring to the cooperation established between the two cities Mayor Hayk Marutyan expressed willingness to develop it and to assist in bringing it to a new level.

Expressing gratitude for warm welcome Aram Mailyan conveyed the congratulations of Beirut Mayor to Hayk Marutyan on his being elected Yerevan Mayor and assured that he will do everything possible within his powers so as the cooperation between Yerevan and Beirut cover different spheres of urban economy and be more practical. Aram Mailyan stressed that Yerevan and Beirut really have great potential for implementation of joint programs.
