Within the frames of the official visit to Artsakh Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the NKR President Bako Sahakyan. Greeting the guests the NKR President noted that significant results had been achieved in all directions within the scope of cooperation established between Yerevan and Stepanakert. The NKR President also outlined that Yerevan Municipality really plays an important role in Artsakh life which is highly appreciated by the Armenians of Artsakh.

“Mister Mayor, the attitude Yerevan Municipality has constantly shown to Artsakh deserves respect. Be sure that the Artsakh people highly appreciate it and always look forward to your visits which is the best proof of successful cooperation established between Yerevan and Stepanakert as well as other districts of Arsakh in the last 4 years. I am sure that within the next few years the frames of cooperation and the programs will be expanded which will contribute to Artsakh development”, said the NKR President.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome Mayor Taron Margaryan in general presented the program implemented and being implemented in various spheres of urban economy within the frames of the agreement signed between Yerevan and Stepanakert, and assured that the activities provided for in all directions will be long-term. The Mayor also stressed that the cooperation is also successful between the administrative districts of Yerevan and the districts of Nagorno Karabakh.
“We attach particular importance to the development and expansion of the relationship with Artsakh and it brings significant results. And I assure you, Mister President, that all out programs will be long-term. Moreover, we keep the large-scale programs at particular attention which will make it possible to implement the projects having more significant benefits for the residents in different parts of Artsakh”, said the Mayor.
