Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan welcomed popular Armenian jazz singer Alina Yengibaryan who arrived in Yerevan to take part in “Yerevan Jazz Fest 2016”.
Greeting the guest Mayor Taron Margaryan attached importance to her contribution to jazz popularization.
“Armenian jazz school has its particular place in the world and we highly appreciate the fact that owing to you Armenian jazz is becoming more popular. Holding “Yerevan jazz Fest” makes it possible to introduce Armenian jazz traditions to eminent jazzmen and to present the warmth and peculiar charm of our capital”, said Taron Margaryan.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome Alina Yengbaryan in her turn noted that during various tours she represents Armenia and the capital of all Armenians-Yerevan with great responsibility and love.
“Mister Mayor, though I don't live in Armenia I am bound to my homeland with my roots. I am very happy to be in Yerevan and it fills me with new creative energy”, said Alina Yengibaryan.
