Today the world marks the International Day of Disabled People. It is one more occasion to refer to our co-citizens who has disabilities and to assure them that they have always been at the focus of our special attention.
During the recent years numerous programs were implemented to make Yerevan more comfortable and available which contributed to our disabled co-citizens’ integration into public life and routine of out capital. There is certainly a lot to be done to provide the availability of all service for people with disabilities. And we will carry on consistently fulfil all the programs aimed at the improvement of the situation in the sphere. Yerevan Municipality actively cooperates with NGOs engaged in solving the problems of disabled people, hears out their proposals, lets them participate in supervision of the activities tending to make our teamwork as effective as possible.
