Dear compatriots,
I'd like to congratulate all of us on the Republic Day.
The first Armenian republic was born after decisive victories gained in deadly battles at Sardarapat, Bash-Aparan and Gharakilisa. These victories proved that the strength of Armenian fist hasn't weakened, and our will to live free and independent life is unbreakable.
Our ancestors didn't spared their lives and gave us the possibility to live with dignity on our own land, to develop science, economy and culture. In April of this year we saw numerous examples of devotion worth the deeds and precepts of the heroes of the past.
History has taught us a lot of lessons one of which is the vital necessity to be recognized throughout the world as the country with its own statehood. On these days of 1918, hundreds of years after losing our statehood, Armenian again started their battle for independence, laying the ground for the psychology which later became the strength helping us overcome numerous hardships.
Congratulating everybody on the event, I wish all of us strong health, welfare and strength of fist and thought for the sake of well-being of our people and prosperity of our holy Homeland.
