Dear compatriots,
Today we are celebrating a really national holiday which is based on the faithfulness of freedom fighters, soldiers and officers fought and won in violent battles for our Homeland, for national dignity, on the respect for the fallen and on the unity of society and army.
The Armenian army was born and hardened in parallel with our state creation. During the last 25 years Armenian soldiers and officers proved many times that with their martial spirit and willingness to serve Homeland devotedly they are worthy descendants of their glorious ancestors. During the April war the enemy made certain again that Armenian soldier is ready for incredible courage as he defends his land, believes in the future of his people and in sustainable lasting development of the Armenian state. Our army also claimed that during these years it bore with the dignity the fame of being the guarantee of stability and peace in the region.
Glory and Honour to our all brave soldiers and a low bow for the memory of our heroes.
Dear soldiers, officers, veterans and azatamartiks,
On behalf of Yerevan Municipality staff and on my own person I congratulate everyone on the Armenian Army Day and first of all I wish there will always be peace. I wish each of you strong health, endless courage and family happiness. Be sure that we will go on being next to our army and our soldiers and we will do our best to strengthen the ties between society and army for the sake of our country and our people.
