I felt deep regret to have known that the Honorary Citizen of Yerevan, Yerevan Mayor in 1975-85, eminent statesman Murad Muradyan had passed away.
Throughout his life he was an example of a true patriot and a statesman, who being a true citizen of his country was always guided by the state benefit and national values.
His deeds served in Leninakan and later in Yerevan were all of great value and with them he will stay in our minds for a long time. He was a modest but sensitive man, strict and caring at the same time. He lived decently and was respected and loved by many people surrounding him.
I express my deep condolence to the family, relatives and friends of Murad Muradyan.
