The Department of Children and Social Protection of the Yerevan Municipality has launched a new initiative for the elderly. Excursions to popular sites across the country are being organized for senior residents of Yerevan. This year, 55 trips are planned, involving around 1,100 participants.
The program kicked off with a visit to the Sevan Peninsula and Sevanavank. During the trip, the elderly were accompanied by a medical worker and relevant specialists.
The project is not only educational but also entertaining. Folk songs and dances, poetry recitations, and various interactive games helped make the day more engaging and enjoyable.
