Another Initiative by the Yerevan Municipality to Support the Elderly
As part of a new initiative launched by the Department of Children and Social Protection of the Yerevan Municipality, a trip to Garni and Geghard was recently organized for senior citizens.
Elderly residents of the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district had the opportunity to visit sites of historical and cultural significance, enjoy a memorable day, make new acquaintances, and discuss matters of concern with the Head of the Department, Gevorg Gharibyan.
Overall, 55 inbound tours are planned for this year, involving around 1,100 participants.
