Yerevan Municipality and Asian Development Bank Expand Cooperation Programs
Yerevan Municipality and the Asian Development Bank are fulfilling several joint projects aimed at infrastructures development. During the meeting with ADB Country Director for Armenia Don Lambert, Yerevan Deputy Mayors Levon Hovhannisyan, Suren Grigoryan and Sargis Madatyan discussed the second stage of Yerevan urban development investment program which involves the construction of the new road segment Isakov avenue-Arshakunyats avenue and outlining of further activities.
As projects to be considered the parties outlined the construction of Tbilisyan highway-Yeghvard highway, the new alternative road to the airport which will significantly relieve the traffic in the city centre, as well as the “Electronic mobility” project.
Attaching importance to existing partnership, the interlocutors marked that there are wide possibilities for transferring outlined projects into a practical phase, as well as for targeted technical, consulting and financial support.
