Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the General Manager of the Asian Bank of Development department for Central and Western Asia Sean O’Sullivan. Greeting the guests Yerevan Mayor highly appreciated the cooperation with the Asian Bank of Development and noted that during the recent years it had been developing successfully and effectively. Stressing the importance of the road construction programs, including the construction of bypass roads, Taron Margaryan noted that the motorways being built within the frames of the investment Program of Sustainable Urban Development financed by the Asian Bank for Development, are of big importance for traffic relief in the center of Yerevan.
“The cooperation established with the Asian Bank of Development is really successful and effective which is proved by the joint programs carried out from year to year and providing of their continuity. I am sure that the cooperation will be long-term and we will get new achievements”, said Taron Margaryan.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome the General Manager of the Asian Bank of Development department for Central and Western Asia Sean O’Sullivan expressed satisfaction with the process and results of joint projects stressing that the Municipality is a reliable and serious partner for the bank.
“Mister Mayor, excellent relationship has been established between the Asian Bank of Development and Yerevan Municipality, and I am sure that due to everyday coordinated work of our teams we will carry on getting noticeable results”, said Sean O’Sullivan.
During the meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan, referring to the expansion of the frames and directions of cooperation particularly outlined implementation of the programs aimed at transport sphere improvement and modernization of elevators facility and stressed that in near future serious steps will be taken in these two directions in Yerevan.
