Yerevan First Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan Visits Waste Recycling Plant in Riga
Yerevan First Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan, currently on an official working visit to Latvia’s capital, visited the Waste Recycling Plant in Riga, accompanied by Deputy Mayor of Riga Edvards Ratnieks and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia to Armenia, Armen Ghasaboghlyan. During the visit, they were introduced to the plant’s operations and observed the processes implemented using advanced technologies.
The responsible representatives stated that comprehensive waste sorting, recycling, and reuse are carried out at the plant.
Highlighting the experience of the partner city, Armen Pambukhchyan noted that Yerevan also initiated the establishment of a waste recycling plant, stressing that successful international practices offer valuable insights.
