First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan participated in re-opening of pre-school N 86
The kindergarten N86 after Lyova Katvalyan marks its 30th anniversary in renovated premises. Today the preschool has opened its doors for 150 kids.
The First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan visited the kindergarten to see the results of the project financed from the community budget.
The Deputy Mayor informed that in 2021, the amount of 250 million drams was allotted for overhauling the pre-school. The improvement of the yard area of the kindergarten is to be continued this year. The city authorities attach particular importance to ensuring proper conditions in kindergartens.
Besides comfortable conditions, the program also solved another important problem: after the renovation the pre-school can host more kids.
In 2022, the community budget anticipates renovation of 11 pre-schools in Yerevan and two new kindergartens are going to be built. Besides, the roofs of 12 ones will be renovated and solar panels will be installed afterwards. The savings this energy efficiency program provide will be directed to ensure more comfortable conditions.
