The composer and musician, jazz and soul singer Sergey Manukyan (Russia) who arrived in Yerevan among other famous musicians to take part in Yerevan Jazz Fest was awarded with Yerevan Mayor's Gold Medal for his contribution to the sphere of culture and music. The high award on behalf of the Mayor was handed to the jazz virtuoso by the head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yerevan Municipality Kamo Areyan. The eminent musician noted that he had gladly accepted the invitation to take part in the first Yerevan Jazz Fest and expressed his gratitude for the appreciation.
