The cooperation of Yerevan Municipality with the UNDP covers various fields of the city economy. The issues related to current and envisaged programs were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan Deputy Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan with the delegation headed by the UNDP Armenian Office Deputy Resident Representative Konstantin Sokulskiy.
Within the scope of the current projects the two establishments are taking steps towards installation of energetic management system and energy efficiency components in the municipal establishments, as well as towards overhauling of kindergartens.
Touching upon joint programs, Deputy Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan stressed that they not only ensure convenient environment in the city but also save significant financial means for the community.
Konstantin Sokulskiy marked that the UNDP Armenian Office attaches importance to the expansion of cooperation programs which prove the reliable partnership between the two institutions The parties also exchanged ideas about further plans and activities to be carried out.
