On June 10, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Vahe Nikoyan together with the Director General of the Asian Development Bank for Central and Western Asia Werner Liepach, the Director for the Armenian office of the Asian Development Bank Shane Rosenthal and the head of “Investment program for sustainable urban development” Nora Martirosyan attended the building site of the road segment Davtashen-Ashtarak.

On the spot presenting the details and the process of implementation of the project the persons in charge assured that the construction of the road segment is going on in accordance with the international standards. Familiarizing himself with the process the Director General of the ADB for Central and Western Asia Werner Liepach expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of the construction, stressing the importance of keeping the security norms. Werner Liepach also expressed confidence that all the activities will be completed within determined time. It should be noted that the program is being realized by the loan means disbursed by the Asian Development Bank.
