Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan hosted the RA People’s Artist, dance teacher Artyusha Karapetyan, the RA People’s Artist, dance teacher Norayr Mehrabyan and the RA People’s Artist, painter Robert Elibekyan’s son Areg Elibekyan and handed them the certificates of Honorary Citizen of Yerevan title and memorial medals.
Stressing the importance of the contribution of the distinguished art figures to art development in Yerevan Mayor Marutyan wished them strong health and endless enthusiasm.
“For many years, you have been putting lots of efforts and enthusiasm in educating generations, and the gratitude of Yerevanians is expressed in this award. Any state is strong with its culture and you have undertaken the mission of preservation and spreading of Armenian culture”, stressed the Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for appreciation the awardees of responsible title wished peace to our country and noted that they look forward to restarting celebration of Erebuni-Yerevan as this festival is really beloved by townspeople.
