Yerevan’s Ambulance Service Fleet Expanded with New Vehicles
Yerevan “Ambulance” CJSC has expanded its fleet with seven modern Mercedes-Benz ambulances, acquired through a leasing agreement and funded entirely from its own resources. Of these, six vehicles are designated for patient transport, while one is an intensive care ambulance (reanimobile).
The new vehicles are equipped with modern medical technology, enabling staff to respond more rapidly and efficiently to emergencies, thereby enhancing the overall quality of medical services provided to the public.
To ensure swift and high-quality service, a number of improvements have been implemented at “Ambulance” CJSC. Thanks to upgraded communication infrastructure, all calls received via the 1-03 emergency number are answered promptly, ensuring 100% coverage and eliminating delays or missed calls. Additionally, with the introduction of a new mobile application, emergency call sheets are now completed digitally, which makes the work much easier.
Effective management has moved the company into profitability, allowing it to not only renew its fleet using its own funds but also to address other essential operational needs.
Salaries have been increased by 8–18%, staff uniforms have been updated, surveillance cameras have been installed, and the technical infrastructure at the substations has been comprehensively modernized.
