Urgent sewage system construction projects have been launched in the capital, including 22 locations across 9 administrative districts. The project is financed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. This initiative is particularly important for residential areas in Yerevan that lacked proper sewage infrastructure since their establishment. Out of 83 such locations, construction of both major and minor sewage lines has been completed at 12 sites, so far. One of them is Mushavan district, situated in the Erebuni administrative district, where a 4.5 km-long sewage line was recently constructed.
