380 tons of garbage has been collected during the citywide clean-up action in Yerevan
During the citywide clean-up action sanitary cleaning was fulfilled in the administrative districts of the capital. Yard areas, parks and the areas of public buildings were cleaned-up.
The employees of Yerevan Municipality and administrative districts, state and private organizations, representatives of higher education institutions and NGOs took part in the activities. Totally 14550 people took part in the clean-up action.
All the participants of the action were provided with gloves, plastic bags, shovels and other appliances. According to the Department of Communal Services of Yerevan Municipality 121 units of machinery were used during the citywide clean-up and 380 tons of garbage was collected.
