The Yerevan International Ballet Festival took place from June 6 to 13, initiated by the Mayor of Yerevan. The festival offered Armenian audiences a rare opportunity to enjoy world-renowned ballet performances presented by distinguished international artists.

The festival opened with iconic performances by the legendary Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow, presenting "Giselle" and "Gala Ballet". Next, the Mariinsky Theatre of Saint Petersburg captivated the audience with prominent performances "Chopiniana" and "Scheherazade". Aram Khachaturian's famous ballets "Spartacus" and "Gayane" were also presented.

The festival concluded with performances by the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiaryan, featuring "Bolero X" and "The Rite of Spring".

During the five days of the festival, nearly 100,000 people enjoyed high-level art under the open sky in Yerevan.
