Within the frames of the cooperation program signed between the Moscow Government and the Municipality of Yerevan for 2014-2016, under the sponsorship of the Municipality of Yerevan a meeting of the representatives of the small and medium enterprises of Moscow and Yerevan has been organized. The meeting arranged within “Business Marathone” project was initiated by the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow with the support of inter-economic and international department. The aim of the businessmen living in Moscow is to develop cooperation with the Yerevan businessmen in the spheres of medical equipment, machinery, building and other ones and to carry out experience exchange. In his greeting speech the head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Municipality of Yerevan David Gevorgyan welcoming those present on behalf of the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan noted that one of the priorities of the friendship and partnership formed between Yerevan and Moscow is economic cooperation as a result of which among other programs being implemented it has become possible to organize this meeting of entrepreneurs. David Gevorgyan invited the Moscow delegation to take part in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2796” celebration. The head of the Yerevan Municipality Department of Development and Investment Programs Armen Harutyunyan noted that the Municipality of Yerevan pays much attention to the cooperation between private sector and the Municipality within the frames of which certain activities had been carried out with the commercial representation of the RF embassy in Armenia in particular a periodical for Moscow and Yerevan entrepreneurs. The deputy head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow Dmitri Knyazev thanked the Armenian businessmen on the 2796th anniversary of Erebuni-Yerevan and wished fruitful work to Armenian and Russian businessmen. The Moscow Government and the Municipality of Yerevan are going to show possible support in the direct cooperation of the entrepreneurs from the two cities.
