The deadline for paying property tax for individuals is December 1. Yerevan Municipality reminds that paying property tax and land tax citizens avoid penalties and fees. It is important to know that only due to citizens’ direct participation and tax paying it is possible to solve the problems of Yerevan from kindergartens services up to landscaping, from policlinics to housing fund preservation.

Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan paid his own property tax today together with the residents of Kentron administrative district.
The information on the tariffs and sums to be paid is available at the official website of Yerevan Municipality yerevan.am. The data are updated every day.
To simplify the process of payment a few variants are suggested. First, to get the PIN-codes and other information citizens should phone “hot line” of the administrative districts or visit the staff of the district. Getting the PIN they should enter it in the website and pay on the spot. Payments are also possible through mobile apps, payment terminals and in banks.
Yerevan Deputy Mayor Hayk Sargsyan noted that property tax is an important source of financing the projects urgent for the city.

During the year citizens are regularly informed about the deadlines for paying taxes via phone calls or text messages. In case of not paying in time citizens are applied penalties and in case of not paying at all the cases are sent to legal establishments.
Some social groups have privileges: veterans of the Great Patriotic War, the fallen and disabled in Artsakh War. Those individuals during their military service also have privileges.
