During the working meeting with the heads of the administrative districts of Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan instructed to keep the process of implementation of the programs being fulfilled by the community under permanent control. Deputy Mayors coordinating different spheres of urban economy took part in the working meeting as well.

It was reported that all municipal establishments made certain changes in the arrangement of their activities with the aim of prevention pf coronavirus spread, however they carry on meeting their responsibilities. It was instructed to keep at focus the applications, complaints and requests received from citizens online so as to provide timely response.

These days some citizens try to abuse the situation of emergency state and get involved in illegalities. The Mayor assigned the heads of administrative districts to act consistently and take measures to suspend the illegal constructions immediately.

The municipal medical establishments go on working in emergency mode. Municipal policlinics are on duty at weekends. Every day 70 municipal buses transport more than 1800 medical workers to and from work.

The Municipality of Yerevan has initiated and implements a special social program for lonely pensioners. Approximately 2000 elderly and needy people get support the cost of which is about 45 million AMD.
Mayor Marutyan once again thanked all subdivisions for working in emergency conditions.
