In April the competition for purchase of 12-metre in length buses at the financing of the EBRD was announced. The results will be known in a few days. 

The community budget managed to disburse financial means to purchase 100 buses of small capacity in a shorter time.
Here are some conditions for the participants in the new competition.
The requirements for the buses are as follows: low floors, adaptation for wheelchair, air conditioning, place for an extinguisher, possibility for card ticketing and GPS connection in driver’s cabin, presence of e-boards for passengers’ awareness and equipment for automated announcement of bus-stops, seats for disabled and signal button for stopping near a passenger on wheelchair.
We expect the in a few months these buses will be in Yerevan and the 12-metre buses will come out in streets afterwards so, we will have significant improvement in public transport in the city.
