Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the delegation of Krasnodar headed by the President of the City Duma Vera Galushko arrived in Yerevan to take part in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2797” celebration. Greeting the guests Mayor Taron Margaryan thanked them for accepting the invitation and visiting Yerevan and expressed confidence that this visit would have its positive influence on strengthening and expansion of the interaction and partnership existing between the cities.
«The agreement signed between Yerevan and Krasnodar last year activated the friendly relations between our cities and established more business ties. We have a big potential for cooperation expansion in various spheres and I am sue we'll be able to implement all the programs we have outlined», said Taron Margaryan.
The President with Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko in her turn congratulated the Mayor of Yerevan on the city's day and stressed that this is another good opportunity to discuss the process of cooperation programs and to outline future plans.
«It's really nice to be in Yerevan, to feel the warmth of your ancient city and to take part in the celebration. I am also sure, Mister Mayor, that in the future we will be able to expand the cooperation circles and to give a new stimulus to bilateral interaction», said Vara Galushko.
