The RA President, the President of the Board of Trustees of the Union of Yerevan State University graduates Serzh Sargsyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and numerous townspeople were present at the ceremony of opening the multi-functional blocks of flats built within the social program of public housing “Available flats for young journalists, doctors, teachers and sportsmen” of “Union of YSU graduates” NGO.

The leader of the Republic accompanied by Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan and the President of “Union of YSU graduated” NGO Arsen Karamyan walked about the building, visited the flats of the beneficiaries, familiarized himself with the work done.

338 beneficiaries got the opportunity to purchase a flat by this program: 98 of them are journalists, 112-doctors, 115-teachers and 13 sportsmen. The prices of the flats are lower than market prices. The construction of this complex at Tsarav Aghbyur 55/8 and 55/11 started in 2012. During the visit the persons in charge reported the President that the area surrounding the buildings will be improved and a park will be laid here. Besides, there will be built children’s playgrounds and walkways. The total cost of this program is AMD %.864.923.000. During the implementation of this project 900 working places were created.
