The process of construction of wheelchair ramps for the people with locomotor disabilities is going on by means of the community budget within the frames of the programs of the Municipality of Yerevan provided for 2014. 50 ramps have already been constructed. This was reported to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan during the regular working conference in the City Hall. It was also reported that the activities of wheelchair ramps construction at the entrances to previously built entities by their owners is going on too. Thus, the entrances to 134 entities have already been provided with wheelchair ramps.The Mayor instructed to control the process of ramps construction by contractors during the process of street overhauling and improvement.

Referring to the process of adjustment of public transport to the need of people with locomotor disabilities it was reported that the competition announced with this aim had already been held.The company won the competition is now carrying out preparations for equipping 10 buses with elevators.
The head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control reported that the activities of illegal and land occupation prevention and elimination of their consequences was going on. The previous week 3 cases of violations had been recorded, besides some previously revealed illegal constructions had been demolished. Taron Margaryan instructed to pay particular attention to elimination of illegal land occupation within the frames of yard improvement activities and to demolish illegal constructions informing the residents of those areas beforehand about the activities.
«First of all watch that the drafts of the activities of park and yard areas improvement were obligatory stuck in corresponding places so that nobody could try to speculate the activities in vain. Besides, I have said many times that the residents should have direct participation in the programs of yard improvement and their proposals should be taken into account. When the residents get acquainted with the drafts they will have no reason to worry that the area may be used with other purpose. Due to this our residents will prevent rumours spread by some people and the whole work will benefit from it», stressed Taron Margaryan.
The head of the Department of Building and Improvement reported that as it had been scheduled since May 25 yard areas asphalting had been started in all the administrative districts. It was also reported that holes filling activities by contractors by their own means. The Mayor instructed keep the process at the focus of attention and inform public about the process regularly.

Regarding the process of improvement of the park after Komitas it was reported that the activities had mainly been finished in the area adjacent to the Museum after Komitas and the draft estimates had been prepared for the rest part of the park.
It was also reported that the obligatory improvement of the surrounding areas by the owners of those entities was kept under control. The Mayor instructed to carry out explanatory activities besides drawing up disciplinary records.
Regarding the process of revenue collections the head of the Department of Revenue Accounting Collection reported that the implementation rates for May has made up 100 %. Except for Kentron district the rest 11 districts have shown 100% performance.The Mayor instructed to reconsider the activity of the persons in charge of the financial division of the staff of Kentron district.
Regarding the process of elimination of the consequences of the shrinkage of a segment of the road leading from the Hrazdan gorge tunnel to «Yerevan Hydropower Station”, Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to keep the activities under tight control. The traffic is temporarily stopped here.
Regarding furnishing of new parking places for taxies it was reported that the drafts had already been made up and sent to the Road Police so that corresponding road signs were placed. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to go on the process of studies regarding new parking places and submit proposals.The Mayor also instructed to pay particular attention to cleaning out the ads stuck at bus stops and see to it advertisements were stuck only in the places provided for it.
