Public Discussion on Yerevan’s 2026 Budget, Development Program, Local Taxes and Fees, and Associated Privileges
An open public hearing was held at Yerevan Municipality on the draft decisions of the Council of Elders concerning the city’s 2026 budget, annual development program, local taxes and fees, and the associated exemptions. The meeting was attended by citizens concerned with urban issues, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations.
Deputy Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan, who chaired the hearing, expressed his gratitude to all participants for their interest and active engagement.
Representatives of the municipal departments responsible for preparing the above-mentioned documents, as well as representatives of several sectoral subdivisions, also attended the meeting.
Participants raised issues and proposals related to all of the draft decisions. In particular, matters concerning the urban development sector were discussed, with the competent officials providing thorough explanations in response.
