Yerevan's budget for 2025, programs of annual development and Open Government Partnership initiative, local duties and fees rates, as well as envisaged privileges submitted for public discussion
Open public hearings were held at Yerevan City Hall on the draft decisions of the Council of Elders regarding the annual budget of Yerevan provided for 2025 and the annual development program, the Open Government Partnership initiative, local duties and fees rates and corresponding privileges. The hearings were attended by representatives of public organizations and citizens interested in the problems of the city.
Acting Deputy Staff Secretary of Yerevan Municipality Vilen Arevshatyan, who conducted the meeting, thanked all the participants of the public discussion for their interest and activity on the topic.
Representatives of the departments developing the above-mentioned projects, as well as relevant subdivisions, were also present at the discussion.
Questions were raised and proposals were voiced on all the projects mentioned: in particular, the participants in the discussion touched upon the problems of the city's transport system, and questions were also raised on a number of other issues related to waste removal, environmental programs and projects, to which representatives of relevant sectors gave detailed explanations. More than 40 proposals on the projects presented were also received in electronic form.
